Taking Stock: Systemic Understanding of the Organization & Interventions for Sustainable Change.

We understand that the workings of an organization are best described as living systems, rather than as isolated lists of results, problems or strengths. When you see strengths and problems as a series of dynamic systems that are being reinforced or weakened, it provides the opportunity to see known and unknown issues, from a new perspective, which will allow you to identify new and more creative solutions.

We use systems thinking to generate a deep and shared understanding of current reality. We seek an in depth understanding of the distinctive strengths of an organization, identified with subtlety and exactitude, as potential strategic differentiators. As a part of the same system, we identify what limits growth or potential and why chronic problems reoccur, in order to identify new and high impact interventions to achieve change.

In this analysis: nobody is ‘to blame’, but everyone is responsible for what happens in the system.

When companies share a deep understanding of where they stand and why, they develop the conviction to act with alignment to build on strengths and solve problems.

We typically link this ‘taking stock’ of the current situation, with the development of a vision and strategy for the future.
